So the Tories' take on protecting green space is that it must be possible to use as a car park?

Two points.
1. I also started watching football at an early age (8 y.o.) and went every week. It's how I came to love live football.
2. If you really must buy a new coat every year, at least donate the old one to a charity shop!

Great read as usual, shame to see this club going, er, down the pan.

Agreed. But £10k a window?

Remind me never to criticise you in case I end up being mocked in a poem!

Councils claiming to be skint, yet paying ten grand each for windows

Whether through the license fee, taxes, or insurance premiums, we end up paying. Be clear, this obnoxious man is suing the British people.

Nevertheless, it is obviously biased and puts Trump in the right, which is regrettable to say the least

Comments here all missing the point: however much you may dislike the man, in this instance he is right. And it makes you wonder how trustworthy Panorama's reporting is on any other topic they've investigated.

Yet again, pensioners come off worst. Unfortunately, my time machine is out of action, so I can't pop back to working life and make provisions for this.

I did eventually find out how to turn off the "ping" on the LOFC app (which I just installed), that was going off every time we conceded a goal

Rather have horse noises than the urban sounds of US-style police sirens, motorcycles, and dustcarts that seem to only travel in reverse in my area
November 7, 2025 at 6:57 PM
Anyone over 19 1/2 stone will crash the helicopter?
November 7, 2025 at 6:53 PM
Guardian now reporting on TV shows as though they are actual news. Taking the tabloid thing really seriously. Will soon be changing to a red masthead.

At least Farage admitted he couldn't keep his promises BEFORE he's elected

He served there, he is entitled to the medal, whatever he may have done since.
November 3, 2025 at 11:09 AM
Ridiculous. You can't have "airport-style scanners" at every station, and taser-carrying police on every train. If this over-reaction goes ahead it will just make rail travel even more expensive. And what about dog-walkers...

No Glamorgan sausages, but I suppose they aren't actually trying to taste like meat ones.
November 1, 2025 at 2:52 PM
Hope they're ultra low emissions fireworks
November 1, 2025 at 2:31 PM
Clearly wasn't affordable enough!

I won't be going
To Chelmsford either

And how are Labour any different?

Could he try to buy Wales next please?
October 27, 2025 at 7:38 PM
Both of us right then 🙂

Wonder if YaxleyLennon will be bleating about freedom of speech?
