I heard loud bangs followed by flashes and I had one of two thoughts: Canada finally said "fuck it!" And just decided to start a surprise attack. Or, it finally happened. I was sorely disappointed to find out it was just people doing fireworks at a fuck ass time.

I'm gonna bitch about written patterns for a moment. While valid. I feel they don't help me hardly at all. I need pictures, I do better with a visual than a vague description that leads me to "trust the process" till it's too late and I' 16 rows past my mistake and it throws the whole garment off.

I just spent the better part of six hours scaling up a cardigan pattern written in Japanese. I am very thankful their patterns are diagram heavy and don't have a ton of random acronyms. The inspo on Ravelry posted pics so I can pluck a part the stitching without having to get too technical.

Ok, ok, ok, I think the first half is over. For now. I have a second half I need to endure tomorrow. I can't imagine there's much left in there. But I am swiftly learning a commode is a requirement.
