As a traditionally published author who has made a profession in writing, I am outraged to learn that this has become the standard. Al, as it is, is flawed and unfortunately still biased in many ways. Furthermore, it does not comprehend the art of writing simply because writing is an inherently human craft that cannot be placed into binary code. Teaching students to write for an algorithm hinders a student's growth, self confidence, and revokes their ability to explore the avenues that writing has to offer. Our students deserve better.
