Feel like I've been watching Weissman promise me that scandals matter for 10 years now, and he's never been right.
His (many others) false hope in the justice system is our version of Neville Chamberlain.

I was just reading about how Hitler did this a lot, claiming credit for projects from before his time.
A prime example was the Autobahn, started and mostly completed before him.
They showed how he made designs and began projects for thousands of gvmt buildings but only one was ever completed.

A reminder that global warming causes wet not dry.
ice ages are desert periods.

He's not trustworthy so we can't believe an event like this is real.
and then he's entirely predictable and over reacts to everything, so he would be easy to manipulate.

He's just a bad leader in every way.

It's perfectly reasonable to assume it was a conservative or MAGA aligned person, as they have been committing nearly all the political violence in recent years.

It's Republicans.
This is not some shortcoming of the resistance.

"I don't know why we hang out together. We don't even like each other"

Long pause

"But I like you"

It's a great way to learn to sing.

Did you read the article today about Trump's aging?
They favorably compare him to Biden time and again, suggesting Biden's mistake was the cover up and Trump is being transparent by saying he's doing great.

Just think about how many people are currently being terrorized or held hostage under threat of being turned in to the government.
These types of policies empower abusers.
November 26, 2025 at 6:15 PM
Two lessons here;
1) oppressive government policy is always used by bullies and abusers.
2) rigid ideology will make people do crazy things in reality. It's better to contradict yourself and do the right thing.

I lived for a while with the son of the man who did all the plants for the original Disneyland.
He was an artist and kept really cool gardens at his home.
The funny thing though is he strung speakers all through his planter boxes that played the classical station, on a timer, all day every day.

I used to ditch so much that at the end of my Junior year, I had Saturday school left over that I had to complete in my Senior year.
The guy who ran those days was a real character and tortured us to no end.

My friend who was abusing Adderall into his 70s suddenly became a completely lost dementia type case when he finally stopped.
He stopped being able to care for himself at all

It's that last statement; my only concern is for the son.

How could you say that when she's in prison?
November 26, 2025 at 4:07 PM
Their going to get the deal.
Trump and the GOP are flailing, but I think they all agree they will have to extend the subsidies.
The real question is whether the Democrats will give in on the abortion restrictions, but I think they are solid on that.
November 26, 2025 at 5:50 AM
just a matter of time.
Trump will protect them.
This country is going to be a mess
November 26, 2025 at 5:27 AM
what we're discovering now is they weren't tired, they were being strategic.
they will get their subsidies, and they will credit while Gop is divided and looking like the bad guys.
and they did it all without the support of Bsky forever complainers.
November 26, 2025 at 5:22 AM
Then what is he doing about that?
November 26, 2025 at 5:04 AM
It would have almost certainly never happened if the Nader voters had supported Al Gore.
November 26, 2025 at 4:57 AM
we already have free days.
Anyone can buy a locals pass and drive in a car load of tourists. i wonder if they'll find a workaround on this policy.
