As of tomorrow I am on strike, joining various faculty and student unions. Not how I wanted to start, a few weeks into working at the UB. We must stand up to Israel and I, as a US citizen, am especially implicated. Several who were kidnapped last night are from Cat, including former mayor Ada Colau.

Well that’s it, after a kid, leaving a tenure-track job in New York, and three postdocs, as of this week I am a professor again. It hasn’t been easy, but I am really happy to have landed at the Universitat de Barcelona!
