Horribly antisocial.
"Who's in it? Debbie Reynolds, Desdemona, and Othello, Groucho Marx. You happy?"

Just tap with your phone. That’s it.

They should have stopped there.

Definitely would not want to be in retail these days.

He got one part right - we do have the worst healthcare in the world.

Smart

Because the issue, despite the catalyst of the conversation, is still real. There IS a decline in customer service, in worker interaction, and in a general sense of community in this world.

What is wrong with being polite?
November 9, 2025 at 1:38 AM
"But...."

This is the problem. It can be both.

And I can't believe I'm trying to say this on some armchair warrior's page, but just be polite. Is that too much to ask?

If the answer is yes, this conversation is over.

So, what would you call a person who gets paid to shake their tits to generate clicks?
For too many of them, they're called murdered. Because men are awful and young girls are being encouraged to use their bodies to make money in this way.
So what is that called again?
November 9, 2025 at 1:32 AM
That's true too. Target CAN suck, and people in retail CAN be polite at the same time. It's not that hard.
November 9, 2025 at 1:29 AM
Hate and vitriol from the guy who posts about how we need to fix our hearts.
November 9, 2025 at 1:25 AM
Oh no, what I say publicly is being quoted back to me.

What a bunch of winners I'm dealing with.
November 9, 2025 at 1:21 AM
You are ascribing all of your thoughts to me. You think I am a certain way, but that is your issue. Not mine.

I stand by my words - be polite to customers.
November 9, 2025 at 1:20 AM
Wow. I'm going to lie and say you're right. Will that get help ease your blind fury?
I was defending the concept of being polite to customers. Anything beyond that is in your head - your problem, not mine.
November 9, 2025 at 1:16 AM
I defended courtesy. I never said Target was right.
November 9, 2025 at 1:04 AM
You are putting words in my mouth. Those are your thoughts and your problem, not mine.
November 9, 2025 at 1:03 AM
Get over it.

Did you read the article? Nobody ever said follow the customers.

And I am horribly antisocial. Unfortunately for me, I have chosen various career paths that put me front and center in social situations. It's called being out of my comfort zone. That's how people grow.
November 9, 2025 at 1:02 AM
So, don't be polite to people. Got it. That works. Great message.
November 9, 2025 at 1:00 AM
What I actually said was: "I'm sorry, but that ACTUALLY is what people in retail SHOULD do ALL THE TIME. They need to acknowledge the customers, say hello, ask if they need help, count out change, say things like "have a nice day." Its called Customer Service."
I did not defend Target.
November 9, 2025 at 12:59 AM
Nobody is saying to like your job. All I am saying is that people should be polite to customers.

Do you think I am wrong that people should be polite?
November 9, 2025 at 12:53 AM
I did not say that. Re-read what I wrote and take your meds.
