It sounds to me like a snare drum somewhere echoey, like a big hallway or stairwell? John Bonham famously got an echoing sound out of his drums for When the Levee Breaks by recording them in a stairwell (although they did some recording tricks afterwards in that case too).

This sounds really cool. Mind sharing what kind of project it would be (feel free not to do so if that would further jinx it). I’m just curious because we’ve had preliminary conversations about this kind of thing but they haven’t gotten very far yet.
