In 1981, Todd Rundgren invented the first color graphics tablet for personal computers — the Utopia Graphic Tablet System, which was licensed to Apple. Surprised Apple didn't just gift him a LaserWriter when they came out in 1985 (for $7K).

Couldn't find the corn casserole leftovers from Thanksgiving for tonight's leftovers dinner. Then my wife & realized neither of us ate them yesterday. And that's when it hit us...she put it back in the oven to warm yesterday. And there it remained. A complete waste. 🤦♂️

OK, here it is...one of the cheapest melodicas you can buy, but it will work for "And We Danced" at the next @wxpnfm.bsky.social live-band karaoke night. Hope the sticky A key loosens up with some playing. I lucked out this try.

When I first shared the story, it had very few details (see below). But I later saw the update about the ship being anchored. Based on where the ship is in that picture in the updated story, it looks like they may have thought they were clear of the runways. Obviously, pilots felt differently.

UPDATE: My eye doctor fixed me up yesterday with a corneal patch and some antibacterial eye drops. My right eye is already feeling a lot better, so it looks like we are still a "go" for Appel Farm today to see @tisburys.bandcamp.com, Polaroid Fade and more!

Just remembered...today is the 20th anniversary of when my friend Katie won second-row tickets and a meet-and-greet with @actualbenfolds.bsky.social at Radio City Music Hall. Only blemish that night was Ben hitting curfew and only being able to conduct the crowd harmonies for "Not the Same."

I'd be happier for her if I didn't suspect she leans right (although not MAGA...I think/hope), but congrats to a one-time close friend/long-ago on-off situationship deal on winning a nonpartisan council seat in Ocean Twp. (Monmouth), NJ, last night.
