There's no thought process behind it, it's a programmed gut reaction. We're demons, and satanists, and communists, and socialists, and whatever other -ist word they don't understand that they've been told Means Bad Things. This apparently includes landscape-ists... o.0

American citizens, and would cheerfully have actually killed people to get their way. At a certain point, it *does* become our fault, when those of us who are not in dire straights have the attitude of "yes, people are hurting, but it's worth it to call out the GOP".

I'm gonna say an unpopular thing: this was going to happen eventually. On the one hand, I'm mad they didn't hold out a little longer (the Supreme Court forcing Drumpf to pay SNAP would have been nice), but the damage this was doing had to be stopped. Rethuglicans have proven they *do not care* about

They've been brainwashed and indoctrinated by almost forty years of misinformation from FAUX News and their ilk. I have yet to discover a good way to deprogram a cult member, since facts are meaningless to them...

If I so much as whisper the word "etsy" on Instagram, the bots come out of the woodwork telling me where I should link my post and what kind of help I can get for "visibility". I can only imagine it's a thousand times worse on Kickstarter :(

Howls of derisive laughter, Bruce!
Seriously, though, streamlining can only be to the good for rapid-fire gameplay, and keeping the mechanics as similar to the average "PC" can only increase immersion. Nothing like being popped out of the story by having to remember a second set of rules for mecha.

USPS does it occasionally as well. Although they're much more likely to show it out for normal delivery, not deliver it, remove it from the notifications as if it had never existed, then *actually* deliver it two or three days later...
