I am happy with my collection here. The Namiki Capless is a good addition to the Mont Blanc 146 and Sailor 1911. I really like Sailor Manyo inks for their watercolor-like shading. Not pictured: 1948 Parker 51 with needlepoint nib (out for repairs).

#npd #NewPenDay I would talk about it on Reddit, but I prefer BlueSky. I love fountain pens, vintage even more so. This pen has been on my wish list for a few years, but out of my price range. This is really nice.

Working on vive mars tracking for the Volume at Shocker Studios. Trying to get the FIZtracker to work, along with Timecode sync.

I made my own Pile Up Poker @puzzmo.com board! This game rocks. I need those 4-color Puzzmo cards though! They’ve got a beautiful card deck for sale, but I need those rockin’ colors and those quirky royals.

I used Unity for 8 years, it was at its best in 2017 imo. I use Unreal Engine now because I want to teach my students how to work in a large team, and I wish I had time to use godot.

I am cleaning my fountain pens - halfway through the process I was concerned about tomorrow - what would I take notes with? Then I remembered that I’ve got like 4 more downstairs.

In other news, the Global Game Jam was a wonderful time, last weekend. I’m halfway through my 12-day week, and it’s totally worth it. People making cool things is always energizing.

Mario Party (the first one) for the N64 had Mini Game Island. I spent a lot of time between 5th and 8th grade playing these minigames.

Oh my god!

SNES > Kirby Super Star > Spring Breeze. The onboarding tutorial was a masterpiece. The game itself had so much built into it.

This is a game to study and emulate. It took 10 minutes to complete, lol, so if anyone wants to tell me about more snes Kirby to play, please do!

With the school of performing arts and film students from the School of Digital Arts, we are using the LED volume at Shocker Studios to make a very cool film.

Thanks! That second one of yours is my favorite. I’ve been taking photos of clouds since I had my first camera, they’re magical.

Today I’m younger than I’m ever gonna be. Or as John Green likes to say: “We’re here because we’re here because we’re here.”
