The ending just about saved it for me. In general I think they get better once they realised the core audience was no longer having to be chaparoned to the movies by their parents, and could lean into the fan service and not blowing up another building.

Are these four ladies from something that's not Conan (novel? comic? TV show?). Or guest cast in the movie, maybe? They don't look like the usual Aoyama designs.

Seeing Someone Hertz do so well in the Shonen Jump TOC makes me feel better about mankind. Hopefully that translates to sales too.
