I didn’t have any expectations when I walked into Predator: Badlands, but I left the theater with a huge smile on my face. It’s a very fun movie.

I spent part of Christmas with the extended family recommending The Buffalo Hunter Hunter to anyone that would listen. It’s really a special book.

I made sure to point him out to my kids when we saw the band in May of 2023. He’s going to be sorely missed.

He would come and go, of course, but when he was there it was always a little extra special, and when I’d see him, I’d cross my fingers and hope to see them play Open again. I’m sure many kids were inspired by Perry; I hope he knew how appreciated he was.

It changed how teenage-me wanted to play guitar (much to the misery of my bandmates). Watching for Perry became a favorite part of seeing the Cure play live for the next 30-plus years.
