Yeah, a specific kind of intentionally bad music/stand up/whatever has always been his thing. I guess it’s in the Tim and Eric lane (and Tim seems to really like him), but Tim’s stuff has always seemed a lot funnier to me

It's a no-win situation--if he came in undecided, he'd be lazy and aimless and molded by his professors' ideology, but he came in with a sense of purpose, so he's rigid and incurious.
