Walking along a riverfront trail this morning and two things come zooming towards me. One was a chipmunk and one was not. Pretty sure the chipmunk got away after climbing and jumping/falling out of multiple trees.

Took some time before I crashed after my survey this morning to year list some flycatchers in Boston. Quite successfully.

I think it’s the thinness more than the length. Coincidentally was cleaning up some files the other day and came across this old comparison I made many years ago.

Nice surprise on the CBC today. About ten feet from where we had one seven years ago, which was the only other I've had on a count.

Also had warbler species #6 of December a couple blocks away. Wish I had the time to walk some of these urban streets and really search for other birds.
