Interested in almost everything. Comics, cinema and Old Time Radio are current obsessions.
Or, better scenario, I find Zarabeth.

I, for one, look forward to our new Ice Age.

I live in Montreal, and, having seen QUINTET, know all the rules of the Assassination Game.

Tonight's movie is Michael Mann's first film and one I've been meaning to see for years.

I've been listening to the Tangerine Dream soundtrack since it came out in 1981, but somehow I kept missing my opportunity to see it.

Really looking forward to seeing Tuesday Weld.

PJF does a similar one on Doc Savage.

Then he writes three pastiche novels featuring Lord Grandrith and Doc Caliban, their analogues.

They are A FEAST UNKNOWN, LORD OF THE TREES and THE MAD GOBLIN.

I had the rest of this series for years since I am a big Fritz Leiber fan, but never saw the first issue.

Three years ago a shop was having a 75% off sale and I walked out with this baby for $5.

Tonight's movie is Seijun Suzuki's first Cinemascope film from 1958.

According to the packaging, "This wildly inventive early noir sees him infectiously playing with genre rules and gender stereotypes".

Sounds fun!

It was so rare to see them play, but I loved this design.

And I like the first two uniforms too.

Tonight's movie is Abbott and Costello's first film appearance.

I've never seen it, but I imagine they won't have much of a presence in it, but it has songs by Jerome Kern, so that should be interesting.

And it's always fun to see Bill Frawley.

RIP Udo Kier.

Unforgettable in BLOOD FOR DRACULA.

"The blood of these whores is killing me!"

And FLESH FOR FRANKENSTEIN.

"To know death, Otto, you have to fuck life... in the gall bladder!"

One of the best costumes ever.

McFarlane almost pulled it off, but the trunks should have a higher waist.

Never saw this on the racks, but I did get issue 2 which I then read countless times.

I think it had the first mention of the STAR WARS novel when Luke was still called Starkiller.

Had a subscription as of issue 4.

Picked up all 10 volumes of BAREFOOT GEN for a dollar each.

I've been meaning to read this ever since I read a review of it in THE COMICS JOURNAL in the early 80s.

Now there is no excuse.

(While doing alt-text it changed to DEN D'HIROSHIMA. Now I am imagining Corben drawing it.)
