fun fact: even the palm trees in horizon drive are based on speedtree trees
I imported the highpoly realistic tree and then manually traced over the frond shapes to make the low poly mesh, and then the shader is just a green leaf gradient and a tan trunk gradient

it's nice to walk over and pick it up myself. when I lived downtown it took roughly the perfect amount of time to walk the blocks as it did to make the pizza, so I'd always arrive exactly as it was coming out of the oven
