Ok wait DOLPH LUNDGREN is in this season??? If that's where they spent all their budget then hell yeah good choice lol. Old Man Who Could Totally Kick Your Ass is one of my fave character tropes and the fight choreo this season is dope.

For sure, it's just weird when the focal character looks the worst in the room. Like in this sequence everyone else has a dramatic, magic-y looking outfit and Yen is there looking all Y2K/CW vampire. Even random unnamed fodder characters look good so it's like how did this happen lol

On the flip side, some good things about The Witcher S4: Laurence Fishburne is an absolute blast (and his costume looks great). Sharlto Copley is also nailing his role and so fun to watch every time he pops up. So glad they joined the cast.

A literal Buffy extra for comparison. They made her so many cool dresses and jackets in previous seasons, what happened? Nothing wrong with pants (her pants+feather jacket outfit is iconic in the games), but not a pants outfit that looks thrifted from 2002 😱

Additional costuming gaffe: all the other mages are dressed like mages but they dressed Anya Chalotra like an extra from Buffy? She looks like she wandered onto the wrong set and the pants don't even fit her. She's one of the main 3 characters what is going on lol
