Anders Breivik complaining about his PlayStation is probably first. But it’s close and that says a lot about how much of a piece of shit Mike Johnson is.

This. Reading this whole list blew my mind. I’m like “do I know >10 of these people because I’m important?”

Hell no. It’s because he chose actually smart accessible people who should have been given more important roles forever ago.

Absolutely fucking maddening that the cohort of people who want nothing to change can keep lording over us all even when we’ve provided them with evidence of a giant mandate saying we’re tired of their shit.
Personally, I would prefer not to kneecap the new mayoral administration before it has even begun by choosing the council member representing parts of the UES that so strongly opposed Mamdani and who has already come out against key parts of his agenda.

When I was 20 I bought weed for 10 bitcoin. Then when I ran out I used my 10 remaining bitcoins to buy weed again.

I was broke and young. I would have sold it when it hit $50.

If only they didn’t get so much say in making this city so damn expensive, I would concede that they are very entertaining.

Many Brooklyn NIMBYs be like “😮 4 STORYS”
I will NEVER understand my neighbors who think that an image like the one in slide 14 is a disturbing photo.

This city has 8,500,000 people. Some of us have to live in apartments. 😲

Yeah even though I’m from New England and I guess I’m supposed to stan for apple pie, pecan is definitely better.

I’m guessing you’ve never had pasta either given your immeasurable morals…

On top of them simply breaking the law, they are also almost certainly just straight up lying about the content of these group discussions, or at least the intentions and motivations of the people having them.
Basically, an FBI agent went “undercover” by reaching out to an extremely transparent group of regular people and saying “hey I’d like to observe asylum hearings too.” Then they got added to the public/unvetted chat where people discuss doing a totally
legal thing… observing court hearings.

🧵/
A “joint situational information report” from the FBI and the New York police department (NYPD), dated 28 August 2025, quoted from a chat on Signal, the encrypted messaging app, and also characterized the court watchers as “anarchist violent extremist actors.”

Oh hey, I'm in an enormous teachers union. Funny, from my perspective, a huge source of the problem is that no one with authority ever listens to the fucking teacher's unions.

But why do I know, I'm not a rich person with a chip on my shoulder.

Truly, we live in a worse world because people who just naturally aren't funny, are trying so damn hard.

So basically, society is doomed because insanely wealthy, antisocial idiots can't think of how to not be represented by this image without asking a computer.

Figures.

If any Democrat tries to defend the continued existence of ICE after this shit is over - we NEED to primary them. Especially if the party doesn’t grow up and decide that warrants throwing them out.

Agree with this. And, most rational people on the left agree with this. As long as you don’t concede an inch.

Still not sure Harris should have spent so much energy highlighting the Cheney endorsement over other last minute issues. But I say that with hindsight no one had last year.

It seems like he works in a pretty normal institution, sadly. At least it matches my experience.

This is, sadly, something that is very apparent to me in my union where the adjuncts do the vast majority of the fighting, because they have something to fight for.

And most tenured professors forget we even have one.

Careful. He’s very fond of quote tweeting anyone who disagrees with him and unleashing his sycophantic followers on them. Although it’s telling he hasn’t had anything to say about this awful take.

Actually, yeah, what’s up with that @radiofreetom.bsky.social?
