Wicked For Good: highly biased but I loved it.🩷💚 I have a lot of thoughts as someone very attached to the Broadway version… but on the whole I really did enjoy it. I got to see it in Dolby and with my “Glinda”, cried our eyes out, sisterhood is so important and wicked is so close to our hearts.

Amanda the Adventurer 3: an enjoyable ending to the trilogy. The doll part absolutely scared the bejeezus out of me 🫣 and I think the puzzles were pretty good too. I feel like there are still mysteries and answers we don’t know but all in all —
I liked it! Excited to see other projects from the team

It’s beautiful and haunting. I will say a small warning that there’s some parts with really loud sounds— I wished I had that note before going in haha

Angel’s Egg: this was my first watch & I was lucky enough to see it in Dolby. Went in without any context, and tbh I didn’t understand it. Clearly a highly artistic and allegorical film — and an excellent one— I needed to sit longer with my thoughts on it afterwards. Warrants another watch for sure

Frankenstein: I really loved it. The creature has long been my favorite “monster” because I love a good simulacra and stories that emphasize what makes us human. 🥹 Del Toro’s adaptation was phenomenal. The art direction and attention to detail is unparalleled and I highly recommend watching this.

I say this only to say that I hope they bring in references and lean on lore from ALL loz games (except those, shut up 😜) not just the new profitable ones, and make sure that fans from all gaming generations can see the characters they grew up with on the big screen 🧡

Allow me to be a little gatekeep-y here: a lot of people jumped on LoZ for the first time in BoTW (which is fine!) but like… you don’t really get Zelda if that’s all you know. Those games are phenomenal but were departures. But im not gonna restart the debate over what the best game is.

So they’re clearly going more “Breath of the Wild” style. It makes me wonder if the story is unique or if it’s the real plot. Like OG Zelda. I really think it will be a disservice to fans if they default to BotW/ToTK lore or references only.

If you are struggling right now I want to remind you that they really is hope. What you are experiencing now really is hard no matter how you might beat yourself up about it or others might ignore it. Just be gentle with yourself and try a little bit each day
