Until recently, I had never realized how the US Civil War “ended”. As in, there was no reconciliation or acceptance - just an end to the military conflict, and then the government seemed to offer blanket forgiveness for everyone on the confederate side, but the hate and racism never changed.

This would actually be fantastic. Just to watch the mental implosion in real time.

Second time today I’ve seen someone comment on the US becoming countrIES. Seems like the split is inevitable and necessary. I can’t fathom how people so incredibly divided can come back together. There are many who have shown their true colors, and I (and many others) cannot un-see the ugliness

We never needed capitalism for that lesson. Indigenous people figured it out long before capitalism showed up.

When the Canadians arrived, Germany had to reevaluate and change their entire approach due to innovative Canadian tactics. And these tactics are a huge part of the reason Canada changed the direction of WWII.

You better believe 🇩🇪 command was CAREFULLY studying 🇨🇦 tactics - as 🇨🇦 should with IDF.

However - anyone glorifying their actions or who has committed war crimes should absolutely be tried and prosecuted. IDF soldiers are NOT exempt. Not even Canadian IDF soldiers.

But never forget what can be learned from your opponents - Germany in 1944 had to change everything due to 🇨🇦 tactics. /3

Canadian soldiers must learn the current practices and procedures of active military engagement - in order to defend themselves and our allies. Because countries like Russia don’t follow rules of engagement either.
