Surely you would allow that being extremely enthusiastic about not liking certain things is good? Fascism, racism, oppression, etc. Many people see organized religion as a societal ill in the same vein. It's annoying when anyone is a "debate me" guy but I don't think it's comparable to sports haters

Yeah I had to sacrifice trailers for the greater good. I just watch them online these days anyways, and just show up at movie start time which for AMC is almost always 20 minutes.

Why when there are reserved seats? I started showing up to movies 20 minutes after the listed showtime about 5 years ago, and I would recommend this practice to everyone.

No one scolded you. If you don't want to be corrected, don't post things that are substantially wrong. If you aren't interested in learning new things, and see corrections as scolding from "know-it-alls", then this may not be a healthy space for you.
