That woman took roots music and remembered those that were kicked out of it by thieves who claimed it as their own (Just like rock, but that's another story for another day). She spun it around and gave it girth too big and wide to fit in a red Dixie cup and they got mad. Tough grits.
Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter album sounds more country than about 90% of the hick-pop slop that's on country radio today.
