My book session this week @ubleiden.bsky.social for the MA Book and Digital Media Studies features books indicating the expanding audiences in the eighteenth century: cookbooks, educational manuals, gardening instructions, student spectators, ladies' magazines, and jokes on fancy haircuts

Last week I organised a coffee house session discussing the book culture of the eighteenth century, with students chatting over bookish topics in small groups fuelling into a plenary discussion. All catered with letter cookies, as reference to early modern Low Countries (culinary) literacy
