Coooool! My wife and I attend our local one every few years, and it's always a hoot. Kudos on your great "garb," as they say!

That's very interesting! Given that game's original planned use of genAI, I'd have (wrongfully) assumed it leaned into other bad modern game trends. Cheers to the studio for delivering a solid on-disc build in addition to ditching the AI junk.

Yeah, it's a drag how much more uncomfortable cafes have gotten in the laSt decade. Pair that with customers' incessant cell phone audio and I have a hard time enjoying a type of place I used to love.

I'm sure it'll be great! I have a new nephew (my sister's first), so it'll be fun to have another lil dude at the dinner table :)

I like the banter piece! I hadn't considered the possibility of Link remaining silent, but that would be hilarious (if unlikely). Also, this article is how I found out that the movie's being directed by the same person who did the unfortunately-named Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes :)

Can't wait to hear your take on this! I'm tempted to get one, as I adore my Analogue Pocket, but having an original N64 hooked up to a CRT and a Steam Deck kept me from justifying it. What I've heard about improved performance on games is pretty intriguing though...

Geez, that's so much prettier than I could've hoped for - thank you. There's something of the Basement Tapes in how he sings this rendition.

I hadn't watched those movies since release, then my wife and I rewatched 'em in 2023 and they were better than ever! Enjoy :)

AHHHH that's amazing

Shoot, yeah - I think the sideways flashbacks were brilliant. And tbh I can't imagine a better ending! I missed Season 2-3 the first time around, so I thought maybe my affection for the ending was based on that ignorance; turns out NOPE, I just love how that show wraps everything up.

Gah, Lakes of Ponchartrain is one of my favorite songs! Can't wait to hear this recording, even if the rest of the set doesn't live up to that moment.

Same - I saw a bunch of movies from late 2024 to mid 2025, but haven't gone to the theater since July or August

Oh my goodness, so glad you're OK!

Dude, I only saw Midnight Mass *this* year and that character/setting/situation is (sadly) evergreen. Thanks for bringing your A-game.

For sure, he's always changing his size. It's like Zelda: players do best not to worry about long-term canon or anything like that, haha. Each game is its own fun little myth.
