I think the truth is that United haven't invested well, have kept players who aren't suitable too long and haven't signed enough players from within the PL, a trend that is steadily changing. Our last 4 signings from Serie A have all been very poor bang for buck: Onana, Hojlund, Zirkzee, Dorgu.

I think it's fair to say it wouldn't have been fixed by keeping Rasmus Hojlund either 😅😂
