Some of us care! Go Bucks!

I think the real strategy and thing Amazon learned is that they should not be overly reliant on any single municipal or regional government, and their actions since have been more about reducing that risk.

60k in one city was wild - MSFT only has 13k in Redmond!

I mean, isn’t it still 50k to 14k? Obviously net new HC seems to be going elsewhere but presence still large.

I also don’t know that if Amazon gets as large as Seattle somewhere else, the politics in that city remain the same.

The Slurs! What a team name. Also it was blurry for me too - hated it.

Don’t love that

This is such bullshit.

Dem voters: please fight the real dangers.

Dem leaders: *capitulate and allow the real dangers to get worse.*

Dem voters: what the hell?

Dem leaders: please, we must stay united to fight the real dangers.
November 11, 2025 at 2:06 AM
Yeah man, we are mad you aren’t fighting the real dangers. That’s the whole point.

We need major structural reforms and solutions to solve America’s slide away from democracy, so to lead that let’s turn to…Chuck Schumer? In what world does that happen *without* primarying everyone?
November 10, 2025 at 7:52 AM
In what world are Chuck Schumer and the other dinosaurs leading the Democratic Party going to be the ones that lead this supposed constitutional reform and abolish the Senate? This an argument for primarying everyone.

King County increased the total number of ballots earlier this morning so it’s actually a bit better (by about half a percent) than she needed, I believe. Still very tight!

They historically get more left the more they count, as you can see from the primary chart on top.

Thursday drop. Wilson trails Harrell by 9,908, 5.7%. The gap begins to close.

We are apparently STILL not into a drop box sample yet, or only including some drop box data. There's a TON of votes expected to lean Wilson out there.

Hook it to my veins!

Why does this become a national election issue for Dems but when Oklahoma buys 55k Trump bibles or when Florida changes history books to say slavery was actually a benefit to African Americans (all official policies), it doesn't for Republicans? Is it the issues themselves or something else?

Don’t forget Horford

Heaven forbid we have someone who understands today's media environment or is younger than 80 in congress.
October 30, 2025 at 10:51 PM
This is especially relevant in the age of Trump. He obviously sucks and what he's doing is terrible, but he's doing it! There's no limit and he's unconstrained by anything, so when people say 'we can't do [good thing],' I'm way less interested in hearing that now. Maybe you're just not trying!

Seems bad.

It is so weird that you think this is weird.

Everyone is 12.

Hey man, that actually is in opposition to affordable housing. Requiring affordable housing to be in the exact right spot, smaller, exactly to your aesthetic preferences, etc etc actually makes it not affordable anymore or impossible to build. You are in fact opposed to affordable housing.
