I just recently returned to Shinobi after falling off when Silksong happened, and it's hitting the spot. Probably 8-10 hours from beginning to end (I'm close to 10 as I approach the last boss, but I've been completionist about it), and its combat feels incredible (platforming maybe less so).

I really, really want this experience, but every time I pick it up, it feels checklisty. Can't help but see the seams as I run from one point of interest after another. I really want to just get lost in this beautiful world, but I'm struggling. Maybe a time and place thing? Not sure.

Ooh, that. Yep, that you're railroaded into one or the other, but it seems like one of those options could be slightly more friendship-oriented if you so choose. I'll be curious to hear your take as you continue!

We’re well aware of S4 coming back (prepping Italian beef, Boursin omelets, and Marcus’s donuts for watch party), but yeah, this is disappointing.

Having just wrapped my rewatch of S3, I’d defend it. Least good of the three seasons so far? Sure. Still better than most TV out there.

I used all my herbs trying to get through the Dark Realm and then have gotten stuck on the second to last boss. Looked up a Let's Play for tips and discovered you could access full magic bars by switching to other weapons. I'm right there with you, @kelslewin.bsky.social

I got a four-month old, and this is the thing that’s worrying me the most. I’m desperately hoping all his efforts get tied up long enough that she can get her full polio and measles doses, but… who knows.
