When i was living in New Zealand I took this photo, and it gave me mixed feelings. An invasive plant framing residue of another invasive creature (humans). Beautiful but ugly, if a photo tells a story what’s the story here?

I never thought we would actually get to see one, but on my third day as a naturalist, a rare friend came out to greet us. Ever seen a Spirit Bear?

A little series on Change - a little passion project I worked on this past fall.

Change is something beautiful, a privledge really, that is a constant in the world around us. It’s confusing how alone it feels: everyone is changing.

A moms job is never done - this baby otter was too busy munching away to see our boat approaching 🦦

(we were parallel not headed towards them)

One of my favorite things about Bluesky is being able to share Panoramic images - something that never fit well with IG.

The thing is, Alaska’s landscape doesn’t fit in portrait orientations. It can’t be constrained and still represent such a large landscape.

Termination dust, or snow, signals the end of the season up here. Bittersweet moment as always. #alaska #landscapephotography #photography #mountains #nationalparks

Stellar sea lion males can be quiet territorial. But I don’t need to tell you, I think this photo speaks for it #wildlifephotography #wildlife #photography #Alaska

One of my favorite things about being an expedition guide in Alaska has to be the moments like these #Alaska #expeditionguide #photography

Hard to beat the late fall in the #whitemountains. We spent the night in this cozy fire tower and watched the day turn to night and back to day. #photography #landscapes #Newengland
