Spent the last wk in Qld, my home until I moved to WA 40yrs ago…it’s lush and green and there are mountains in the distance…it’s a radically different place from the mid-80s (as you would expect)…infrastructure alone is mind boggling…would I ever come ‘home’…nah…the humidity alone is diabolical…

Stopped consuming any news since Sunday…also, finding it hard to feel much by way of sympathy…I guess the events of the last few years has really hardened my heart…doesn’t mean I support the murderers or their twisted ‘Cause’, nor do I feel any joy in the lives lost, just actions have consequences…
