One more angle I've also thought of is that action-horror doesn't get as much love or focused commentary as it should, IMO. With The Raid bring a prime example of that and Indonesian action in general often having a lot of horror DNA, it's a sub-genre that should be in the spotlight more, I think.

I'd also say India's getting there in terms of mainstream Western recognition, but still could be tapped into more. And having interviewed many stunt people snd fight choreographers myself, in general I think press with them should be more of a staple of action movies upon initial release.

Chinese streaming/DTV action is definitely getting big and becoming something of the best out of Asia, but you'd hardly know it over here with how unceremoniously they tend to drop stateside, so I think it's a highly underexplored territory (1/2)

He's had fight scenes with everyone from Scott Adkins to Tiger Shroff, and arguably falls into the same category in the 21st century as Al Leong and James Lew, i.e. frequently cast as villains or henchmen, popping up in fight scenes and causing the viewer to go
