shoutout to Insomniac for taking some quality time to talk about how cool it is that they have Wolverine stabbing a guy through the face, reminding me of this image I saved because it never fails to make me laugh.

been popping into FFXIV to level here and there, now I'm catchin' up on the story before the next patch. Please, enjoy some screenshots, it has been awhile since I shared.

monster hunter players will complain that wilds is too easy, these games used to be harder, then Capcom puts in the toughest variant of the fat whale and they complain the hitboxes are bad, the attacks are too fast, there's not enough openings. motherfucker what did you think made the old games hard

bouncing between "Kojima's lost his touch" and "goddamn he did it again" is the Death Stranding 2 experience. Giving it some time to settle but there's a lot of ways in which I prefer it to the first game, with the only real marks against it the loss of absolute novelty in gameplay & narrative.

Tried out The Last Remnant in a JRPG fugue and got locked into it - really cool combat with a lot of variability, and some pretty good looks despite the 360-era haze filter. The story would be better served digging into its politics instead of its protagonist uhhh Rush Sykes but it's solid stuff.
