Too many words, too few pictures.
(And too little talent!)
Thrilled by the artistry and beauty of images -- principally #landscapephotography -- shared by the Bluesky community of photographers, and so grateful to be able to appreciate and enjoy them.

Oh yes, I see it!

Ah, to be looking up at the cloudy skies of other worlds! I think we've only done that on Mars, Venus, and Titan?

Rather bizarrely, I think you'd get this reddish effect more, on Mars, when it's around noon -- and sunset turns out to be bluish!

to run to, and they freeze as well: making those raised ridges.

Car wax makes raindrops bead up -- perhaps those beads of water each formed a cell?

This is all just conjecture -- I don't have knowledge here.

But surface tension in mixed liquids can give self-organising patterns, so... perhaps.

Not perfect but you can compose several posts, in one go, in the app:
Once you start typing, a ➕ appears ⬇️, to let you continue composing into a following post.

You still have to manage the splitting yourself. It's not perfect :-\

(in case helpful)
How to view a slightly crisper image, by opening a post in a web browser, on an Android phone:

From viewing the post in the BSky app:

1) bottom of post: click the 'out tray' Sharing icon (next after the Like button)
2) in the popup sharing panel: click your web browser's app icon

Hope you were on land, then -- I'd imagined you'd taken it from a boat!

Scales we cannot comprehend.

The subject, that texture, the black and white, and the harsh light 🖤
