And sometimes not even then! My Explorer absolutely deserved to die for punching the Sun Mask clean off and I was down to let him go out like that, but my tablemates pursuaded me to keep him around a little longer.

I had 2/3 of the original doors on that house, I learned about door curtains SO FAST 😹 Had we stayed there longer I might have even made them pretty. I also used the cloth airlock method on a bedroom w/o a door in an NYC apartment in order to keep cool from the window AC in during summer.

I have an old pile of wool scraps from thick but moth destroyed thrifted blankets for this exact purpose left over from when I lived in a 1927 Tudor revival house in Iowa. The last winter we lived in that house we had -40° weather, I was busting out door curtains and wool gap filler everywhere.

To say nothing of our desperate eternal search for a good scheduling app for games! 😹 An app that worked for both would be a hit, I think!

This but it's my bathtub full of antique silver I'm trying to clean after it's been in a storage pod for 2 years and now I desperately want to take a shower but I gotta finish cleaning all of this first 😮💨

Please know that I got so excited to open this thread that I made a face looking at my phone that made my spouse ask if everything was okay and I had to be like "oh yeah, Meg Baker is about to do a deep dive on two beaded dresses and I'm really excited about it."
