She doesn’t demonstrate a meaningful understanding of the paper, completely fails to critically engage with it, doesn’t provide sources, and, for being an upper division university student, appears to write at a middle school level. Zero points is harsh, but that isn’t a passing assignment!

Sorry, I could have been a lot more artful in how I tried to make the joke. Or simply not have made it. I’m used to encountering agf as the thing TERFs accuse us of as an attempt to write us off.

Same. For better or worse most of the electorate have “thoughts” on our right to exist in varying capacities, but at the end of the day very few actually care all that deeply.

The trans in sports thing is an area where better public education would probably push the needle a lot.

One of the scariest things I heard as a geologic consultant was an engineer asking a geologist to check their calculations. I went to make a joke about you including geography in the list, but I was absolutely a partisan in my firms ArcGIS-AutoCAD war.

It was wild seeing businesses in working class areas of eastern Lakewood put up anti-MM signs. Imagine being proud enough of harming low income school children to brag about it in one of the poorest parts of town…
