O PL 2.159/21 é o maior retrocesso na Legislação Ambiental brasileira desde a Lei da Política Nacional de Meio Ambiente de 1981, e afronta diretamente o Artigo 225 da Constituição Federal de 1988, como detalha a Nota publicada pelo Ministério do Meio Ambiente em www.gov.br/mma/pt-br/no...

Um grande destaque do lançamento é o capítulo sobre Conhecimento Tradicional e Indígena, fortalecendo a integração entre os saberes. Participaram 53 especialistas acadêmicos e governamentais, 12 jovens pesquisadores e 26 representantes de povos indígenas e populações tradicionais do Brasil.
