Nothing makes me feel older than telling people that we used to play football and baseball in the street and ride bikes and skateboards all over the neighborhood unsupervised. People look at me like I’m from a different planet. (Sadly, one of those kids is now a NIMBY who rails against bike lanes).

Half the time they don’t even save any time. I wind up catching up to them at the next light/stop sign.
