I appeared on a podcast the other day. In the pre-chat, one of the guys told me he'd uploaded my ARC to ChatGPT to summarise it for him. Suffice to say I was not best pleased. All we can do is keep writing because LLMs cannot string a story together, readers can tell.

It's great that they provide temporary jobs for the (usually itenerant) workers but at what cost to the local environment and the long term prospects for the communities?
