Read my comment I have kept my part of the bargain - the contract we enter into when we start work - for 51 years - I now also pay income tax on my pension and you want o decrease my ( by today’s standards ) meagre income even further ?

I’ve already contributed for 51 years!!! I sensibly made pension provision when I was in my 20’s which I now pay basic income tax on and you now want to penalise me further with NI contributions?

There’s been a deluge of these ‘rare bird sighted’ non-stories in local rags around the country and I can’t work out why. Autumn has always been a time for rare visitors. Can they not report these sightings in a more accurate way? Even venerable publications such as the Northern Echo are guilty
