I heard Joan Baiz’ interview with Nicole Wallace and she said something that stuck. “stop calling any of this unprecedented” because the tiny dick regime takes it as a compliment. It’s normal fascist behavior and meant to install fear. Fuck them, don’t obey! Don’t bow down to tyranny.

My Mother attended the same school in 62 and I attended my last year of high school at Harding. She made it 4 days in a horrendous environment. Even when I went there in 90 it was full of racists. I can only imagine 1957. She is a total badass in my book. She’s 82 now and lives just down the road. 💙

As much as I love sentiment intended here, I feel the need to comment. Ruby Bridges wasn’t given a choice in the matter as she was six. She was isolated and ostracized. I see this photo & I want to give little Ruby a hug. Dorothy Counts was 15 & chose to attend an all white school in Charlotte. 1/2

These fuckers are vile. Some days it’s hard to stay level headed and peaceful when we are inundated with this hypocrisy and hate, but we must. Drown out the hate and lies w/ facts &peaceful discourse. It’s an uphill battle since our reps and Supreme Court have failed us,but it’s not impossible.
