I also have some limited experience with genAI (LLMs) and let's just say that consistency is not its strong suit. I'm still LMAO at the redactions because that's exactly the kind of unexpected error we occasionally produced.

I've worked a lot with search&replace while proofreading, and the amount of times the slightest thing would throw the filter was frustrating. Every time I thought I'd caught every variant and every misspelling of a word or a phrase, it would pop up like a zombie because of some unforeseen parameter.

I'm in Europe and at this point I think *I'm* entitled to damages.

Often well-educated, frequently eloquent, but dumb. Surprisingly bad at logical thinking (mistaking "being good at maths" with "logic", lol).

In my experience, people (usually men) that make confident, broad-sweeping statements about any topic they're asked about and *never* say "That's not my area of expertise"("rational" bros, New Atheists, "science light" authors, podcasters, "public intellectuals", "skeptics", etc.) ARE this dumb.

I sometimes think about AI disciples in the nuclear power industry or among airline CEOs ... even though I'd rather not. 😬

Idk why but me, 1997: OMG, can't wait to watch Titanic, tragic story, even though I'm currently living in a Mexican town with 1 cinema where they turn the original sound *way* down and you depend on the Spanish subtitles.
Me, 2005: Why tf would I watch The Perfect Storm, we already know how it ends.
