Cool, thanks! Foaming TPU is a new material for me, I'll have to try a spool and try it!

That's pretty amazing! Any tips for getting them to bond?

Yoo very exciting, congrats!

A trick someone once showed me for designing light pipes was to make all of the interior surfaces as white and reflective as possible, to reflect as much light out in the direction you want as you can. If you can switch to white PCBs (or paint them!) that might work here too!

This build is ridiculous (in the best way)

Hard to tell who this is actually for, isn't it? We joke about a Leica M having ergonomics "like a bar of soap" but this takes that to a whole new level

Ehh reference points for round things is what I have the most trouble with 😆 Not really sure what the best option is!

Huh, I've never tried to do an operation like it. What is the sketch anchored to? Plane offset from the center of the rod?

Was the force with you?

Oh nice!

Which part did you choose for the PD negotiation stuff?
February 24, 2025 at 2:33 AM
Are you a net promoter?
February 21, 2025 at 10:13 PM
Haha ok, cool! I have a growing pile of PLA poop and this seems like a fun use for it!
February 21, 2025 at 4:07 PM
Wow, great use of scrap! Are you doing anything special to melt it down?
February 21, 2025 at 12:20 AM
One of those weird things you don't buy the printer for, that end up being extremely useful
February 15, 2025 at 12:39 PM
Ha, that's a clever comparison!
February 15, 2025 at 12:35 PM
Wow, that is a magic bean I haven't seen in a long time. Is it still usable?
February 15, 2025 at 10:54 AM
Oh yeah, I think I've seen this on Amazon before. Agree looks promising, I always wonder if the wheel will work though
February 15, 2025 at 10:48 AM
Roll with it
February 14, 2025 at 5:18 PM
Maybe still a market opportunity for weird input devices here then 😉
February 14, 2025 at 4:28 PM
Oh interesting! If the wheel can do all those different things it seems like maybe a good option. Did you actually use it?
February 13, 2025 at 3:53 PM
I think the second interpretation is the best I got, but I also wasn't sure.
