They will keep Foote til the end of the season then we will have a new coach with experience for next season. I can’t see them keeping Foote past this season, and releasing him mid-season would be a waste

A first for Garland? He is an effort guy but too small for a playoff team. His points aren’t there for a top line guy. If Canucks can get a first then great. I just don’t see it myself.

Goalies need to be traded out too - both Lankinen and Demko. What’s the point of keeping them at this point. They won’t be part of the team in 3-5 anyway. Demko will require salary retention with his injury issues. Lanky should get value. Boeser, Petey40, Myers, all need to go as well. Full rebuild.

Garland would get a second or third. Sherwood second, MAYBE a first if the Canucks are lucky (spoiler… they aren’t).

Have heard mixed reports on this draft year. Not a standout to lead the ranks and not an overly strong year. Any thoughts?

Went to one game this year. It was pricey as we have to get a ferry, a hotel and tickets, meals etc. $1,000 and they got shutout v Rangers. Won’t be going again this season.

Two seasons in a row - SO many injuries. Player conditioning seems to be an issue that the team needs to address. This game they looked good, but a lot of perimeter play/shots. Coaching needs to change things up soon. Or change coaching… trade soon? Could be.
