Ooh! I'd love to dig into it once I finish rewatching the series. I binge-watched it the first time around, so I've been realizing in the rewatch that I've forgotten a lot of the details 🫠 my thoughts feel very unorganized at the moment lol

Yes!! I also just got to the point in my ST rewatch where Sadie's character finally sees the demogorgons after helping Dustin, Steve, & Lucas set up the trap for Dart & when she first sees it through the fog she asks, "are you sure it's not a dog?"

Oh my gosh YES thank you! There are just so many connections between her work & other things that it's hard to keep up. I just KNEW someone else had to have done extensive analysis of the connections with Stranger Things (ST) already.

Yeah I agree, I wouldn't have looked at it and thought, "hmm I should check to see if that's AI." Whereas most AI images have a quality to them that makes me do a double take to check. This one doesn't have that certain kind of look 🫠

Alright cool lol. I'm from the same coast but a further north state, and it seems pretty similar. Some of them it seems we add the "I" before the interstate number but otherwise just the number. I'm realizing I don't notice a pattern with which ones get the "I" and which ones are just the number 🤣

Can I ask how you refer to different freeway numbers? The first time I heard them referred to as "the [number]" was in college when I met someone from San Diego who called it "the 5," so I'd assumed that was how all Californians referred to them lol

I started thinking about the possible connection when the parents chain up Nana in the yard before going out for the evening. Then Peter arrives, Nana starts barking constantly, signaling that the kids are in danger. She's screaming, the kids don't notice her, & the adults just seem annoyed by her.

Idk if I think that this has anything to do with The Black Dog, but I think it's worth mentioning that Nana (the dog who cares for the children while at home) was originally a Newfoundland, based on J.M. Barries' dog, a black and white Newfoundland. Newfies can also be all black.

And I'm bummed bc I had the OG cardigan in my cart, but I had a meeting where the other person usually runs late but today didn't, so I couldn't finish the checkout process before they showed up
Idk if I'm actually sad about not getting it or if it's just the urgency of knowing it would sell out

I'm barely into chapter 3 and have lost count of how many times Peter has been referred to as cocky. The most recent of which saying that there never has been a cockier boy than Peter. 🤨
