Fans like that are so fun. I saw the Habs lose to the Capitals a few weeks ago and the guy behind me must have been hoarse by the end of the night for all his tabernaks, etc. But he was fun and friendly, and made it more exciting for me.

Overall the Maritimes are liberal or progressive conservative (ie not the crazy right wing) politically. I can't speak for the smaller places but Halifax is very queer friendly in my experience.

Forgot to add, Alberta probably has the most right wing govt right now and while I don't think it'll last, it's not a great political climate right now.

I'd probably avoid QC unless you speak French and NFLD because it's relatively isolated and a hard economy. I've always lived in the same small city so I don't really know much about the bigger spots. Personally, if I had to move it'd be to Halifax or Winnipeg. Smaller and manageable for me :)

Its worth it. I moved jobs back in March because my management was terrible. I don't love my current situation but Im not angry anymore after a day of work. What a relief that is.
