I'm giggling at the google-money spent on G+ vs what it has cost to build and run bsky. If Google hadn't gotten distracted by 'everybody is doing AI' they'd probably try a new social network again based on bsky/atproto.

At 15 kph it takes a little over 7100 years to do one circumference pass. The grass has regrown, and the biome has maybe moved on and made some old growth forest. You're going to need a different kind of mower

maybe the problem is that ORMs are doomed to run on-top-of SQL. they can only ever be derivative of that.

I daydream of a database with a non-SQL interface, that make more sense in the language you're working in, but if we built it the world would demand SQL (See cockroachdb's journey)
