I’m going to disagree that now is the time. Let’s get Dems elected first.

Mitt Romney (R) came up with the prototype of the ACA in Massachusetts. In turn, it’s modeled after a SWISS version that is a blend of free market forces and public funding. The problem came when Congress under Newt Gingrich got a hold of it.

Yes. My only problem with that as the topic of conversation is the SO.. I don’t bother voting response to it. I know it’s true, BUT, we have to work with what we have and differentiate the good guys from the bought.

Realizing there are flawed and corrupt people in both parties does NOT mean we say, oh well they are both the same so let’s vote for someone with no power at all to make our point. No, we still all go vote for the party MOST likely to help us the most WHILE holding everyone accountable.

And people have been working very hard SINCE NIXON to create that national system. No one worked harder than Hilary Clinton. Obama created something that was better than nothing and Republicans sabotaged it as much as they possibly could.

For example: Private healthcare insurance companies want to be able to do whatever they want without regulation. They want to deny care, raise drug prices and premiums, make people pay for preventative care—all the things the ACA regulates!

Their corporations. Regulations that protect US. They want them lifted so their businesses can pollute or take their business to another country, compromise worker safety, hire only white men—whatever they want !

They DO have a plan and have had the same plan since NIXON: remove all regulation and privatize all healthcare in America. Can we please stop 🛑 this passive voice talk and start some active voice talk by saying what the plan is and has always been?!!!
