killer7 is an uncharacteristic 50% off on Steam (normally it's 75% off, and from what i can tell, it's been years since it's gone on sale for a different amount)
interestingly, the sale ends on november 14th, and and the game was originally released on november 15th 2018... which would be 7 years..

considered even making that hubworld pseudo-3D but they werent lying when they said gamemaker does not do 3D. this was the best i could do and it was super finnicky because the platform was a sprite and i had no idea what angle i was viewing it from or how to make the sprite scale properly to it

probably also hindered by how often i try to reinvent the game:
1. current released version
2. optimized code, trying to make it less minecraft-like
3. thinking about having a separate hub-world with a different art style and more RPG elements but these placeholders make me want to throw it all away

remember when there were a shit ton of competing companies who all tried to make art and products that were better than the others', instead of like three uberconglomerates that are perpetually in talks to buy each other out
