This is basically how I feel about my Framework laptop too, by the way, it's just a bit more on the nose when you have Apple customers claiming the moral high ground because Nirav sponsored dhh's conference that time while Tim Apple is off dining in the Epstein Ballroom.

Honourable mention to https://lap.dev/lapce/ though, it's not remotely scriptable enough for this former Emacs cult member, but it's very slick in a Zed without the faff kind of way.

Well, I say absolutely zero, but it's not really that hard to imagine a Skynet scenario where some idiot builds an MCP server for a nuclear missile silo and Claude accidentally launches World War 3 when asked to rename a function.
