We have been feeding a feral cat colony for 15 years.
St. George decided to clear most of the riverbed as "fire mitigation". This is destroying nearly all of the wildlife habitat and the only place our last cat had ever known. I did talk them into leaving a small ticket, but not enough. Video

I am still recovering from macular hole surgery. It is a hole in the white of the eye below the retina.
They fold the retina back, place a plug on the bottom of the hole, fill it with gas and seal it with silicone. Then I had to sit face down for three days.
