For today's #BirdOfTheDay theme stripes, this European Goldfinch snapped near Krajnska Gora, Slovenia, in August. It's my favorite bird on the continent: it flaunts vibrant colors, wears a cool & confident stare, is playful yet shy, making them an entertaining challenge to snap and observe.
